Unaccompanied minors

Children aged 6-14 (except of Romanian nationality) are permitted to travel as unaccomponied minors. If parents or guardians prefer, the child aged 14-18 can also travel as an unaccompanied minor. For Romanians, it is permitted for teenagers of 14-18 years old for international routes and for kids of 6-12 years old for internal routes. The unaccompanied minor can check-in only at the airport and the service is free of charge. The minor must be present at the check-in desk at least 90 (ninety) minutes before departure, accompanied by an adult. The necessary documents are a power of attorney empowering the minor to travel in the care of a representative of the air carrier and the declaration to be filled in at the check-in counter.
