AIR UNIQON is a German virtual airline that started operations in January 2026. It launched flights connecting Friedrichshafen with Berlin, Hamburg and Düsseldorf. The company does not have its own airline operating certificate and instead uses Avanti Air to fulfill its operations. Avanti Air is a small German airline based in Burbach, North Rhine-Westphalia. It operates a small fleet of turboprop aircraft.

Air Uniqon online check-in is available from 48 hours to 2 hours 30 minutes before departure. Airport check-in opens 90 minutes and closes 45 minutes before departure.

Baggage
Air Uniqon baggage allowances depend on the fare type. On all flights operated by Avantiair, carry-on baggage must not exceed 8 kg and checked baggage must not exceed 20 kg per piece. BASIC fares do not include baggage, but passengers may add one 8 kg carry-on or one 20 kg checked bag online for an additional fee. SMART fares include carry-on and checked baggage. BUSINESS fares include carry-on baggage and two checked bags. Excess weight is charged at €20 per kg for BASIC and SMART fares, and €35 per kg for BUSINESS fares, payable at the airport.

AIR UNIQON allows children aged 5 to 11 to travel unaccompanied on flights operated by Avantiair, provided the paid escort service is booked. The escort service costs €50 and must be arranged in advance by contacting AIR UNIQON or emailing ops@airuniqon.com

AIR UNIQON allows passengers to travel with dogs and cats only, subject to availability and prior approval. Pets must be transported in an IATA-compliant carrier that fits under the seat and does not exceed 8 kg including the animal. Only one animal per carrier is permitted, and the total number of pets accepted per flight is limited.
