Check in rules

Online check-in is not currently available for Chalair Aviation flights. The airport check-in deadline for Chalair flights is 20 minutes prior to departure for flights to Brest, Rennes, Caen and Limoge. The check-in deadline for flights to Bordeaux, Lyon, Nantes, Metz, Montpellier, Ajaccio, Bastia Perpignan and Nice is 30 minutes. The airline recommends arriving at the airport at least 45 minutes before your flight departure time.

Baggage

Chalair Aviation gives each passenger one piece of carry-on baggage, free of charge. Chalair Aviation baggage must not exceed the overall dimensions of 115 cm and must weigh no heavier than 10kg. Airline limits carry-on baggage to a maximum weight of 6kg on flights to Rennes, Bordeaux, Montpellier. Chalair Aviation gives each passenger one piece of checked baggage, free of charge.

Unaccompanied minors

Children over the age of four can travel alone. A minors' escort service is compulsory for children 4-11 years old. For children over the age of 11 years old the minors' escort service is not compulsory and can be booked on request of parents.

Infants

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Infants may fly without a seat on the airplane, i.e. on the lap of an accompanying adult. If you wish, you can buy a seat for an infant at the infant fare. If one adult is traveling with two infants, one seat must be purchased for one infant, and the other may be held on the lap.

Pets

Passengers are permitted to transport one small animal in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier is under 15 lbs (7 kg). Carriers must be sealed bags (not hard-shell carriers) for pets traveling in the cabin. The head of the animal must not protrude from the carrier at any point. Most of Chalair's flights do not accept animals in the hold.
