LIFT (GBB*) fleet seat map(s)

LIFT is South Africa's new domestic airline founded in 2020. The airline uses Global Aviation Operations to provide aircraft, maintenance and crew for its services. The main hub is at Johannesburg's O. R. Tambo International Airport. At the moment of writing, the airline was serving Cape Town and Durban with a fleet of A320 aircraft, offering both business and economy fares.

Check in rules

Online check-in is available through the website. Airport Check-In: domestic flights will open 2 hours before scheduled departure; international flights will open 2 hours before scheduled departure. Check-in desks close 45 minutes before scheduled departure. Passengers must arrive at the boarding gate 30 minutes before departure.

Baggage

Passengers are allowed one piece of hand luggage. The total dimensions must not exceed 115cm (56cm (L)+ 36cm (W)+ 23cm (H)) and must not exceed the weight of 7 kg. Each piece of checked baggage must not exceed 23kg, and must not exceed the maximum dimensions of 208cm (90cm (L) + 75cm (W) + 43cm (H).

Unaccompanied minors

An Unaccompanied Minor is a child aged 5-11 years old traveling without the supervision of a parent or guardian who is 16 years or older. Unaccompanied Minors do not require a parental / guardian declaration. Unaccompanied Minors will be allocated seating according to the appropriate aircraft's seating plan.

Infants

Children under two years of age are considered infants and may travel for free, provided they do not occupy a separate seat. If necessary, a separate seat can be purchased for an infant at the child fare.

Pets

All service dogs (guide dogs‚ assistance dogs) are carried free of charge‚ provided the dog is traveling with the owner/passenger, and the individual is fully dependent on the animal. Arrangements for the carriage of service animals are to be concluded no later than 72 hours before flight departure, and such requests are to be sent to the Customer Support Desk at support@lift.co.za
