Isles of Scilly Skybus is a small British regional airline based at Land's End airport. It was founded in 1984 in order to connect the Isles of Scilly with the British mainland. The airline maintains a small fleet of propeller driven aircraft. The main type is the DHC-6 Twin Otter, offering a seating capacity for 19 passengers and capable of flying from very short runways. The airline is owned by the Isles of Scilly Steamship Company.

Baggage

Skybus allows two pieces of hold luggage per person, with a combined weight of 15 kg and maximum size of 75cm x 50cm x 30cm. Passengers can share luggage, but no single bag may exceed 20 kg. Hand luggage allowance is one piece up to 3 kg and 30cm x 15cm x 15cm in size. Excess baggage is charged at £6.00 per kilo, subject to space availability.

Unaccompanied minors

Children under 8 can fly if accompanied by someone aged 16 or over. Children aged 8-11 need a Young Flyer's Declaration Form, while those aged 12-15 can fly as unaccompanied minors at the parent's request. The declaration form must be submitted 48 hours before departure, and guardians must stay at the airport until the flight departs.

Infants (0-1 years) do not have an included luggage allowance, but Skybus will carry a buggy or travel cot free of charge.

Pets

Dogs are welcome on Skybus Twin Otter aircraft, departing from Land’s End and Newquay airports. They travel in RSPCA-approved crates (90cm x 60cm x 60cm). Dogs must be on a lead or suitable restraining device at all times in and around the airport. The cost is £51.60 per crate, each way.
