Air Montenegro is the flag carrier of Montenegro. It was established in 2021 to supersede bankrupt Montenegro Airlines and is wholly government owned. The airline took over two Embraer E195 aircraft from its predecessor and operates out of Podgorica airport. Check in rules
The airline does not offer online check-in on its website. Instead, passengers must check in at the airport. The airline recommends that passengers arrive at the airport two hours before their scheduled departure time. The check-in desk closes 30-60 minutes before departure.

The airline allows passengers to take one piece of hand luggage weighing no more than 8 kg and with luggage dimensions of 45 cm x 33 cm x 20 cm. Passengers are allowed 32 kg in business class and 23 kg in economy class. Any baggage exceeding the check-in baggage allowance will be charged per kg.

Children over the age of five can travel alone. A minors' accompanying service is compulsory for children 5-12 years old. For children over 12 years old, the minors' escort service is not compulsory and can be booked on the request of parents.

Newborn babies may not be transported on our flights until seven days after birth, unless they are born prematurely. Pre-notification and medical clearance are required for the transportation of premature babies.

Only small pets such as dogs, cats, small pet birds, or small rodents (rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs) may be transported in the passenger cabin. Animals of the reptile family are not accepted on Air Montenegro flights. The maximum weight of the container and the animal is 8 kg, and the size of the container may not exceed the dimensions of hand luggage, which are 55x40x20 cm. An animal that cannot be carried in the passenger cabin because of its weight/size may be carried in the aircraft's cargo compartment. The maximum dimensions of the transporter are 91x60x66 cm, and the maximum permissible weight with the animal is 50 kg.
