Check in rules
Air Mediterranean places a high emphasis on ensuring a smooth and hassle-free check-in experience for its passengers. To ensure passengers can fully benefit from their services and avoid any last-minute rush, the airline has set specific timings for its check-in operations. The counters open 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure and close 40 minutes before the flight takes off. Air Mediterranean strongly advises passengers to adhere to these timings and arrive punctually. Regrettably, if a passenger arrives at the check-in counter after its closure, the airline will be unable to accommodate them on the flight, emphasizing the importance of timely arrival.
Air Mediterranean Check-in rulesBaggage
Air Mediterranean offers passengers a checked baggage allowance of one piece weighing up to 20Kg, with a maximum size of 158cm in total circumference. Infants, however, do not receive a free checked baggage allowance. For carry-on, passengers are permitted one item weighing up to 8Kg and measuring 56 x 45 x 25cm. Additionally, each Air Mediterranean passenger can have one handbag or laptop bag up to 5kg, with dimensions of 40 x 30 x 15cm, which should be placed under the seat. Exceeding these limits may result in additional charges, and during check-in or boarding, baggage might be verified for compliance with size restrictions. If carry-on baggage surpasses the allowed dimensions or weight, it may be checked into the cargo hold, potentially incurring extra fees.
Air Mediterranean Baggage rulesUnaccompanied minors
Air Mediterranean defines Unaccompanied Minors (UM) as children aged 5-12 traveling alone without an adult's accompaniment. The airline provides a UM service exclusively for journeys within Europe, ensuring their well-being throughout the flight. For every UM, an Unaccompanied Minor Form must be filled out and signed by the adult at the check-in counter and the one receiving the child at the destination. Each child, even siblings, requires a distinct form, and all its sections must be thoroughly completed. Children below 5 years must travel with an adult aged 18 or older. The airline doesn't accept children on wheelchairs as UMs, and stopovers or night stays are not allowed. While the child discount isn't applicable for UMs, necessitating payment of the full adult fare, it's crucial to notify the Reservations department about any UM at least 24 hours before departure to ensure a seamless experience.

Key guidelines include: Infants less than 7 days old may need call center clearance. Each infant must be with an adult over 18 and can be held with a supplementary belt. If traveling with multiple infants, only the first gets an infant fare; others need regular fare seats with compliant car seats. Infants turning 2 during a trip require a regular fare seat from the start. Baby food and milk are allowed on board in clear bags. Infants don't receive free checked baggage and can't sit near emergency exits. Staff are available for assistance.
