Children over the age of two can travel alone. A minors' escort service is compulsory for children 2-11 years old. Animals are not accepted in the cabin on Icelandair flights. A maximum of 4 animals can be carried on each aircraft. Animals can travel in the special climate-controlled transport area of the cargo hold if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 40 kg. For pets traveling in the hold, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 91 cm x 63 cm x 71 cm.
