Web check-in isn't available for passengers, so all passengers must check-in at the airport. Zanzibar: airport check-in counters close 90 minutes before scheduled departure time. Nairobi‚ Kilimanjaro International Airport‚ Lamu‚ Lodwar‚ Kitale, and Kisumu: airport check-in counters close 60 minutes before scheduled departure time. Other destinations: airport check-in counters close 30 minutes before scheduled departure time.

Baggage
Hand luggage may include personal items, including a camera, laptop computer, or purse. Some passengers are entitled to one piece of free checked baggage weighing 20 kg, which must be, at most, the total allowable size. A small fee must be paid for any luggage weighing more than 20 kg, and the airline accepts luggage weighing no more than 32 kg due to health and safety regulations.
