AJet started life as Anadolujet in 2008. It was set-up as a low cost subsidiary of Turkish Airlines and up until recently was flying under TK flight numbers. The airline was rebranded and fully separated as of April 1st, 2024 and is now flying under its own VF flight numbers. AJet has its main base at Istanbul - Sabiha Gokcen airport with further hubs at Antalya, Ankara and Ercan. As the airline expands, it plans to serve over 120 destinations with a 200 aircraft fleet. The airline currently has a diverse fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft and Boeing B737 family aircraft. Most cabins are fitted with a high density single class layout.

Check in rules
AJet Check-in begins one hour before the scheduled departure time for domestic flights and two hours before the scheduled departure time for international flights. Check-in closes 60 minutes before scheduled departure time for international flights and 45 minutes before scheduled departure time for domestic flights. Therefore, Check-in may close earlier at some airports.

Only one piece of hand baggage with a maximum size of 23 x 40 x 55 cm and a maximum weight of 8 kg is permitted on AJet board. A garment bag not larger than 114 x 60 x 11 cm is considered hand baggage. AnadoluJet passengers have a free baggage allowance of 15 kg, except for flights to/from Erkan airport (Lefkosa) where the free baggage allowance is 20 kg.

Children over the age of seven can travel alone. A minors' escort AJet service is compulsory for children 7-12 years old. For children over the age of 12 years old the minors' escort service is not compulsory and can be booked on request of parents.

Infant AJet passengers are those who are between 0 and 2 years old. Infants are not allowed on flights during the first 48 hours after birth. Infants between two and seven days old are allowed to fly with a doctor's permission. An adult may accompany only one child on the AJet flight. A second child must have a separate chaperone.

AJet airline allows pets in the cabin and the cargo compartment. The size of permitted pet cages/ bags in the cabin is 23x30x40 cm (height*width*length). The total weight of the pet and cage/bag carried in the cabin may not exceed 8 kg. If the total weight of the pet and cage/bag exceeds 8 kg or its dimensions exceed 23 cm x 30 cm x 40 cm, they will be carried in the cargo area.
