It focuses on reconnecting underserved regional routes with modern Cessna Grand Caravan turboprop aircraft. Targeting business travellers, the airline aims to offer the most agile boarding and deplaning service in Mexican aviation. Future expansion plans include routes to the US once approval has been received.

Check in rules

Aerus Airlines offers web check-in up to 72 hours before departure, allowing you to obtain your boarding pass via phone or computer. If you need to check luggage, present your boarding pass at the airport counter. Aerus aircraft do not have lavatories, so passengers are advised to use airport restrooms before boarding. For international flights, you must check in at the counter at least 1 hour before departure.

Aerus Airlines passengers may bring one personal item (e.g., handbag, laptop bag, or backpack) up to 5 kg (11 lbs) and 45 x 35 x 20 cm (18 x 14 x 8 in). Hand baggage is allowed up to 10–15 kg (22–33 lbs) depending on the fare, with maximum dimensions of 55 x 40 x 25 cm (22 x 16 x 10 in). Checked baggage may weigh up to 25 kg (55 lbs) and measure up to 158 cm linear (50 x 35 x 70 cm / 20 x 14 x 28 in).

Pets

Aerus Airlines allows only dogs and cats to travel in the cabin, with a limit of two pets per flight and one pet per passenger in a container no larger than 30 x 20 x 20 cm (11.8 x 7.8 x 7.8 in). Pets must have a rabies vaccination certificate (issued within 30 days) and a valid health certificate (issued within 5 days by a licensed vet). The fee is $1,499 MXN per pet. Service and emotional support animals travel free with proper documentation. All pets must be clean and in secure, leak-proof carriers not exceeding 50 x 35 x 35 cm (19.6 x 13.7 x 13.7 in).
