FitsAir was founded in 1997 and was formerly known as ExpoAir. It is a Sri Lankan privately owned airline based in Colombo.The airline operates domestic as well as international services within Asia. It operates a diverse fleet from very small propeller aircraft up to widebody Airbus jets. The airline also has a strong cargo business and an aircraft leasing arm.

Check in rules
Web check-in opens 24 hours before departure up to 8 hours before departure of your ticketed flight. Passengers must check in at the airport of departure for their flight. Passengers must present their valid e-ticket and passport/national identity card to one of the airline check-in agents at the departure airport. Check-in opens 60 minutes before departure and closes 30 minutes before. Please check-in before the deadline closing to avoid refusal or boarding.

FitsAir allows for a carry-on baggage allowance of 7 kg per person on all of its flights. FitsAir doesn't offer a free checked baggage allowance on its flights. If you want checked baggage for your flight, you'll have to pre-purchase it online or buy it at check-in at the airport.

Infants under two years of age may travel free of charge on the lap of a parent (of any age) or the lap of an accompanying adult aged 16 years or older traveling in the same cabin. We welcome infants from 2 days old, but infants up to 7 days old need to fill out a Passenger Health Care form before the flight.
