Infants

A child ticket costs 10% of an adult Finnair ticket. An infant does not have its seat on board. If you want to buy a seat for your infant (child under two years of age), the price of the ticket, in this case, corresponds to a child ticket with a child discount. For most of our ticket types, the child discount is 25% of the base fare without fees and taxes. The children's discount applies to children from 2 to 11 years old.

Small pets, including cats, small dogs, pet rabbits, turtles, and hedgehogs, may travel in the Finnair cabin provided that the total weight of the pet and the carrier does not exceed 8 kg. Larger dogs and ferrets may travel in the baggage compartment as long as the pet's total weight and its carrier do not exceed 50 kg. If the pet and its box weigh more than 50 kg, the pet must be carried as cargo.
