Pacific Airlines is a member of the Vietnam Airlines Group. It was originally founded in 1990 and is based in Ho Chi Minh City. From 2008 until 2020, the airline operated under the name Jetstar Pacific, joining the Qantas led low cost family. The airline briefly suspended operations in 2024 and is today operating again as a low cost subsidiary of Vietnam Airlines. The airline mainly operates Airbus A320 family aircraft.

Check-in can be done via Vietman Airlines online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online registration begins 24 hours before departure and ends 60 minutes before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure.

Vietnam Airlines transports strollers for infants (under 2 years old) for free in checked or carry-on luggage and provides bassinet service for free for infants under two years old and weighing no more than 11kg. Passengers are advised to be at the airport at least 02 hours before departure to ensure sufficient flight check-in time.
