Registration can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins seven days before departure and ends four hours before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure.

AirAsia X Berhad Check-in rules

Each passenger can carry one bag and one personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Maximum dimensions of carry-on luggage: 56 cm X 36 cm X 23 cm (length x width x height). Maximum weight of carry-on luggage: 7 kg. There is no free baggage allowance for checked bags for Economy passengers. For Business passengers: baggage allowance: 20 kg, maximum dimensions: 158 cm (length + width + height).

AirAsia X Berhad Baggage rules

Any child between the ages of 12 and 16 years old on the day of travel and traveling alone are considered a Young Person Traveling Alone (YPTA). Any guests between the ages of 16 and 18 years old on the day of travel may travel without completing any forms and will be treated as adults. However, these guests cannot accompany a child under 12 years old.

Unaccompanied minors in AirAsia X Berhad

The fees for infants under the age of two years (on the date of travel) but above eight days old are provided for in the fee schedule. An infant may travel provided he or she sits on an adult's lap. Only one infant is allowed for one adult.

AirAsia X does not accept pets and animals on board.
