The main hubs of Eurowings are Cologne/Bonn Airport (since October 2015), Düsseldorf Airport, Hamburg Airport, and Vienna Airport (since November 2015). The airline is a member of Star Alliance. Check in rules

Check-in can be done at the airport or online. Depending on the departure airport, opening and closing times may vary, but online or mobile check-in is usually available up to 72 hours before and up to 3 hours before departure. Airport check-in desks open three hours and close 40 minutes before departure.

Baggage

Hand baggage dimensions: large cabin bag: max. 55 x 40 x 23 cm, small cabin bag: 40 x 30 x 25 cm. The weight of your hand baggage may not exceed 8 kg. Checked-in baggage may not exceed 23 kg and may not be longer than 158 cm (sum of all dimensions).

Unaccompanied minors

Eurowings allows children to travel alone with certain restrictions and, upon request, offers an unaccompanied minor service. The Unaccompanied Minor service is only available on direct domestic flights and direct flights from Germany to Vienna and Zurich . On international routes, children may not travel as unaccompanied minors. The "Unaccompanied Minor" service can only be requested for children aged between 5 and 11 years inclusive.

Infants

Children under two years of age are considered an infant. Eurowings allows you to travel with an infant in the following ways: the infant sits on the lap of an adult using the harness strap and sits in the same seat as the adult; the infant sits in the child seat in its own seat, which you have reserved for your child. Online reservations are available for passengers traveling with children and/or infants, but only if the infant will sit on the parent's lap.

Pets

The airline carries only small dogs and cats (up to 8 kg) and only in the cabin and only on short- and medium-haul flights. Pets must be placed in a waterproof, bite-proof, closed but breathable bag (not a container with rigid walls). The bag must not exceed the maximum dimensions of 55 x 40 x 23 cm.
