Check in rules

Check-in can be done online (via the Gulf Air website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 24 hours before departure and ends 60 minutes before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before Gulf Air departure and close 60 minutes before departure.

Baggage

Hand baggage allowance for Falcon Gold business class: one bag (maximum dimensions 55 x 40 x 30 cm), or one garment bag (maximum width 20 cm), one briefcase (maximum dimensions 43 x 38 x 30 cm). Maximum Gulf Air total weight: 9 kg. For economy class: one bag (maximum dimensions 45 x 40 x 30 cm), maximum weight 6 kg. Checked-in baggage allowance: for Falcon Gold business class: up to 40 kg; for Economy class: 30 kg

Unaccompanied minors

Unaccompanied children between the ages of 5 and 11 may travel alone unaccompanied on any Gulf Air flight operated by Gulf Air. Unaccompanied children between the ages of 5 and 11 traveling alone on a Gulf Air flight must be booked in advance as "Unaccompanied Minors - UM."

Infants

Infants younger than seven days old cannot travel by air. Newborn babies over one week old will be allowed to travel by Gulf Air, provided they are healthy and born usually. An adult must accompany each infant. Infants will be charged the infant fare if they require a separate seat. Infants under seven months of age, weighing no more than 10 kg and no more than 26 inches tall, may travel in an in-flight carrycot.

Pets

The airline does not allow pets to be transported in the Gulf Air cabin. A pet may only be transported as cargo. During freezing weather, an acclimatization certificate may also be required for pets traveling in the cargo compartment. On most airlines, pets are not allowed in the airline cargo compartment if the ground temperature is below 45 degrees Fahrenheit
