Registration can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 72 hours before departure and ends four hours before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure.

SmartLynx Airlines Estonia Check-in rules

On SmartLynx flights, the hand baggage allowance includes one piece of baggage and some personal items. The total weight of hand luggage (including personal items) may not exceed 5 kg. The maximum dimensions of hand luggage may not exceed 55 x 45 x 25 cm. On SmartLynx flights, the baggage allowance is weight-based and depends on the route: 20kg - from Riga to Antalya, Heraklion, Burgas, Rhodes, Varna; 13kg - from Riga to Funchal, Tenerife, Hurghada, Ras Al Khaimah, Bergamo, Geneva; 15kg - from Tallinn to Antalya, Heraklion, Hurghada, Tenerife, Burgas, Rhodes, Varna, Salzburg, Lanzarote, Turin; 13kg - from Tallinn to Dubai. The maximum size of a piece of checked baggage cannot exceed 84 x 56 x 32 cm.

SmartLynx Airlines Estonia Baggage rules

Children between the ages of 5 and 12 are permitted to travel alone only when accompanied by SMartLynx staff and provided an adult accompanies them to check-in at the departure airport. Written confirmation that another adult will be waiting for the child at the destination airport must be sent to SmartLynx. Children between the ages of 12 and 18 may travel alone as adult passengers but may be assisted by SmartLynx staff upon the written request of a parent.

Unaccompanied minors in SmartLynx Airlines Estonia

A child under two years of age may travel on the lap of an adult passenger without an extra seat reservation or in a child seat if an extra seat has been reserved. If two infants are traveling with an adult, an extra seat must be reserved for one of the infants, and a child seat must be used during the flight. SmartLynx does not provide child seats.

SmartLynx Airlines Estonia Infants policy

Small dogs and cats may travel in the SmartLynx Airlines cabin as long as the pet's total weight and the carrier do not exceed 22 pounds (10 kg). Each passenger is allowed to bring one pet on the plane. For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers may not exceed 55cm x 45cm x 25cm. Pets cannot be carried as check-in baggage.
