Qatar Airways also offers an escort service for children traveling alone. The child must be between the ages of 5 and 15 (up to and including 16). Children under five years of age will not be accepted. To take advantage of the minor's escort service, you will also be charged a Qatar return ticket for the company employee who will be accompanying your child.

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Newborns at least eight days old are allowed on Qatar Airways flights. Newborns under eight days of age may be accepted only in exceptional cases where travel is medically necessary. Infants may fly without a seat on the plane or on the lap of an accompanying adult. If you wish, you can buy a seat on the plane for an infant at the child's fare. Children over the age of two must have their own seats on the plane. If one adult is traveling with two infants, one seat must be purchased for one infant, and the other may be held on the lap.

Qatar allows you to carry one falcon in the economy class cabin (no more than six falcons are permitted on each plane, and country regulations may apply), but pet dogs or cats are not allowed in the cabin. However, the airline accepts pet dogs, cats, and birds as check-in baggage on your flight or separately. Pets weighing more than 75 kg may be carried as cargo.
