Check in rules

Check-in can be done online (via the Singapore Airlines website or mobile app) or at the airport. Singapore Airlines Online check-in begins 48 hours before departure and ends two hours before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 30 minutes before departure. The gate closes 10 minutes before departure time.

Baggage

Singapore Airlines Cabin baggage allowance: for Economy Class passengers - one piece; for First/Business Class passengers - two pieces of baggage. The maximum weight limit for all classes is up to seven kg. In addition, the sum of the length, width, and height of each item must not exceed 115 cm for all classes. Maximum checked-in baggage weight: for Economy Class passengers: 30 kg; for Business Class passengers: 40 kg; for Deluxe/First Class passengers: 50 kg; for Krisflyer Elite Gold members, an additional 20 kg baggage allowance is allowed to all destinations except USA and Canada; for PPS Club members a 100% additional free allowance is allowed.

Unaccompanied minors

An unaccompanied minor is any passenger aged between 5 and 18 years old who is not traveling with an adult (18 years or older) on the same Singapore Airlines flight and in the same class of service. The Unaccompanied Minor Singapore Airlines Service is compulsory for passengers aged between 5 and 12 years and optional for those aged between 12 and 18.

Infants

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Children up to two years old (24 months) are not required to have their own seat. You must, however, inform Singapore Airlines that you will be traveling with an infant on your lap. If you wish, you can buy a seat for an infant at the infant fare. Children over two years of age must have their own seat on the plane. Only one lap child is allowed per adult. If one adult travels with more than one infant under two years of age, contact Singapore Airlines, as special arrangements are required.

Pets

Singapore Airlines does not accept pets on its flights. Animals may be carried as checked baggage. The pet must be at least three months old. The total weight of the pet and carrier may not exceed 70 pounds (32 kg). If more than one pet travels with a passenger, they must be placed in separate carriers. Puppies or kittens from the same litter may be in the same carrier if they are three months old or older and weigh less than 30 lbs (14 kg). No more than two puppies or kittens are allowed in each carrier. For pets carried in the baggage compartment, the height of the carrier may not exceed 22 inches (56 cm) on A330 aircraft, 40 inches (101 cm) on B777 planes, 23 inches (60 cm) on A380 aircraft, and 30 inches (76 cm) on A350 aircraft.
