Check-in can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 24 hours before departure and ends 60 minutes before departure. Airlines open the check-in counter two hours before the scheduled departure time for domestic flights; three hours before the scheduled departure time for international flights departing from Vietnam; from two to three hours before the scheduled departure time for international flights departing outside.

One passenger (except an infant under two years old) can only bring one handbag and one small handbag with a total weight that must not exceed 7kg. Dimensions not to exceed 56cm × 36cm × 23 cm. Normal Checked Baggage: weight must not exceed 32kg per piece; a dimension not to exceed 119cm × 119cm × 81cm.

Vietjet does not provide Unaccompanied minors services for children aged from 2 to under 12 years on the date of departure, traveling alone. Unaccompanied minors in VietJet Air

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Airlines do not allow infants younger than 14 days old to fly. Infants may fly without a seat on the aircraft. If you wish you can buy a seat for an infant at the infant fare. Children over two years of age must have their own seat on the plane. If one adult is traveling with two infants, one seat must be purchased for one infant and the other may be held on the lap.
