JTA is a Japanese airline that was founded in 1967 as Southwest Air Lines. It adopted its present name in 1993. Today, the airline is majority owned by Japan Airlines and as such provides domestic services on behalf of Japan Airlines. Ti is based at Naha, Okinawa and operates to around 15 destinations with its fleet of Boeing B737-800 aircraft.

Japan Transocean Air Carry-on Baggage Allowance: it may not exceed 55cm × 40cm × 25cm=115cm in size and 10 kg in weight. Japan Transocean Air Checked and Excess Baggage Allowance: up to 20kg is free of charge for each passenger; up to 45kg is free of charge for First Class passengers; total dimension of checked baggage is 50cm x 60cm x 120cm; for items exceeding the free allowance while within a total weight of 100kg (maximum to 32kg per item), you may check them in with an Excess Baggage Charge; total weight must not exceed 45kg.

Unaccompanied minors

The airline provides a service of escorting minors. Airline allows children over six years old to travel alone. The airline allows children over the age of six to travel alone. For children aged 6-7 years old, an escort service is mandatory. For children 7-11 years old the service is available upon request.
