The airline does not offer online check-in on its website. Instead, passengers must check in at the airport. The airline recommends that passengers arrive at the airport one hour before their scheduled departure time. Desks close 20 minutes before departure.

Hop On fares allow two pieces of luggage weighing 50 pounds each at no extra charge. All In fares allow three bags of 50 pounds each. There is an additional charge for excess or overweight luggage. Passengers may bring one personal item on board, which must fit under the seat in front of them. Maximum dimensions are 13 inches wide x 11 inches high x 17 inches long/deep.

JSX does not currently allow minors under 14 to travel alone. Customers over the age of 14 may travel alone but are not allowed to accompany other customers under 18.

Children under two years of age are considered infants. Infants younger than seven days old are not allowed on the flight. Infants do not need a separate seat. They may travel on the lap of an accompanying adult. The cost of flights is 10% of the regular adult fare.

The JSX allows customers to transport medium- and large-sized dogs in the cabin. The pet must weigh 65 pounds or less. For dogs that are too large to occupy the approved pet carrier under the seat, customers must purchase an adjoining seat at the advertised price, and the dog will be allowed to lie on the floor directly in front of the seat.
