Story
SeatMaps was founded by Fred Finn, a Guinness World Record holder for passenger miles and most flights on Concorde, and Djois Franklin, a tech veteran from AMD and Microsoft. Initially started as Quicket GmbH, the company aimed to provide accurate seat map and visualization information data for various airlines to benefit both travel businesses and consumers.
Based in London and Munich, SeatMaps combines Fred's extensive field research with regularly updated seat map data for over 750 airlines. Fred, who has spent 31,000 hours in the air, including 718 flights on Concorde, recently released his autobiography, "Sonic Boom."

For B2B customers, our advanced data engine analyzes airline data and content, including seat amenities, seat availability and upgrades, food, baggage, and CO2 emissions. SeatMaps strives to be your global go-to resource for regularly updated seat maps. Our experts have analysed and collected seat map data for years, working with manufacturers like Airbus and Boeing as well as travel companies like OAG, Amadeus, Cirium, Sabre etc. to provide comprehensive seat and availability details.
Our next frontier is to create photorealistic 360-degree visualizations of every cabin and seat, expanding beyond airlines to include trains and buses.

This passion extends to our leadership, starting with Fred to the former COO Peter Bonting, an avid traveler and novice photo blogger, and insights from the renowned international author Jennifer Coutts Clay, whose extensive experience culminated in her bestselling book "Jetliner Cabins," detailing the evolution and innovation of airplane interiors.
