Air Arabia Dammam officially took to the skies on September 20, 2026. Formed by an Air Arabia-led consortium, the budget airline secured its Air Operator Certificate earlier that month, establishing King Fahd International Airport (DMM) in the Eastern Province as its main operating base. The carrier offers domestic and regional low cost operations with Airbus narrowbody family aircraft.

Check in rules
Check-in confirms your presence on the flight and allows you to check any baggage. Boarding refers to to the moment when you board the aircraft. Unaccompanied minors
Children 5 to 14 years old must travel as unaccompanied minors when not traveling with a person at least 15 years old. Children 15 and older may request and pay for the unaccompanied minor service. Unaccompanied minors are accepted only on direct flights that do not require a change of aircraft or flight number.
Infants
If your infant is at least two days old, most airlines should be happy for them to fly. However, some airlines will insist that your baby is at least two weeks old. There are no standard regulations, so it is your best interest to confirm with the airline prior to the booking process.
Pets
As long as your pet can stand up and turn around in an FAA-approved pet carrier, that fits under the seat in front of you, your fuzzy buddy can travel with you. In some cases, pet and carrier must weigh a combined 20 pounds so, please, confirm with your specific airline.
