Check in rules

Check-in for a Airhub Airlines flight online for free and save time at the airport. After checking in online, you can head straight to the security screening point or check in your baggage at the baggage drop desk. While checking in online, you can choose seats and order additional services. Check-in deadlines are different at every airport so we recommend you to arrive not less than 2 hours before your scheduled time of departure. Your journey will be smoother if you have enough time for check-in and other departure procedures. Check-in counter closes 40 minutes before the scheduled time of departure.

Baggage

Each Airhub Airlines passenger (excluding infants) may take one hand baggage item that does not exceed 5 kg with him to the cabin. Cabin baggage dimensions cannot exceed 55 x 40 x 20 cm. Aside from free carry-on baggage, passengers may also have a small backpack / handbag / laptop bag, not exceeding 30 x 40 x 10 cm dimensions or a throw, blanket, on-board reading materials, baby food, umbrella, cane, crutches and one bag of duty-free items. Each passenger is allowed to carry one checked baggage item free of charge that does not exceed: 20 kg (except travelling to/from below mentioned destinations) 15 kg travelling to/from Tenerife, Dubai and Madeira 18 kg travelling to/from skiing destinations.

Unaccompanied minors

Unaccompanied minor service is mandatory to children from 5 -11 years old. Unaccompanied service can be provided to children aged 12-15, if requested by their parents or guardians. This service ensures that the child is under the supervision of the Airhub Airlines from check-in until the child has met his/her parent or guardian upon arrival at the destination. At the final destination, the parent or guardian must arrive on time for the arrival of the flight. The unaccompanied minor service must be arranged and paid for in advance as prior confirmation is required due to the limited number of unaccompanied minors per flight. Children under the age of 5 years are not accepted for flight without an accompanying person.

Infants

Infants under the age of 2 years as of the date of travel may fly on an adult’s lap as an infant. Ticket does not include a separate Airhub Airlines seat on the aircraft. If You want to have a separate seat for an infant, You must purchase a child’s Ticket. Adults can accompany only one infant. The limited number of infants can be accepted on the Airhub aircraft. It depends on the standard amount of oxygen masks, infant life jackets and infant belts. Infants’ sitting is only possible in special areas and with a person over 16 years of age using a special infant belt. If the infant reaches the age of 2 years prior to the return journey they must pay the applicable fare, taxes, fees and charges for that part of the journey.

Pets

Animals can be transported in the Airhub Airlines cabin if the following requirements are fulfilled: PETC (pet in cabin) shall be a pet (only a dog or a cat) in the cabin in an approved transport container (maximum size 50x40x20 cm and maximum total weight of 8 kg). No more than 3 PETC transport containers are allowed per flight. Pregnant animals or pets under 8 weeks old are not allowed onto our flights. PETC are not allowed on flights to/from Dubai (DWC), Tenerife (TFS), Fuerteventura (FUE) and Madeira (FNC).
