Check in rules

Valetta Airlines' Check-in Procedures: Each airport has unique check-in deadlines, so we advise passengers to familiarize themselves with these times in advance. Our check-in counters shut 40 minutes before the planned departure, and boarding gates close 15 minutes prior. To ensure a hassle-free experience, allow ample time for check-in and other pre-flight processes. If you're late to the boarding gate, we might cancel your booking. Once the gate is closed, boarding is no longer possible. Valetta Airlines isn't responsible for any costs or losses stemming from non-compliance with these guidelines.

Unaccompanied minors

Valetta Airlines' Unaccompanied Minors (UM) service is for Children aged 5-12 must, while for those aged 12-16, it's optional but available upon a guardian's request. This ensures the child is supervised by the airline from check-in until they're received by their guardian at the destination. When checking in, the guardian must provide the name and contact details of the individual meeting the child at the destination. It's essential for the guardian to stay at the airport until the flight departs. At the destination, the receiving guardian should be punctual for the flight's arrival. The UM service needs prior booking and payment due to limited slots per flight. Children below 5 years must be accompanied during the flight.

Infants

For Valetta Airlines, infants up to 2 years old can travel on an adult's lap since their ticket doesn't allocate a separate seat. If you desire a distinct seat for the infant, a child's ticket must be acquired. Each adult can only accompany one infant. The quantity of infants per flight is determined by the available infant seat belts. Standard infant safety tools like baby chairs or cots can't replace these belts. Baby chairs aren't permitted in the cabin. If an infant turns 2 before the return flight, the accompanying adult must cover the relevant charges. Like all passengers, infants must possess valid identification and required travel documents.
