Mingalar (K7) fleet and travel rules

Mingalar Aviation Services (formerly Air KBZ) is a privately owned domestic airline based in Yangon, Myanmar. Established in 2010 by the KBZ Group, it began flight operations in April 2011 to connect major local destinations.By 2019, ownership transitioned to the 24 Hour Group of Companies, bringing it under the same parent umbrella as Myanmar Airways International (MAI). In January 2024, the airline officially rebranded as Mingalar Aviation Services.Operating primarily from its hub at Yangon International Airport, the airline utilizes a regional fleet—historically anchored by ATR 72 aircraft—to serve domestic routes. In recent years, its flight schedule has been closely realigned with MAI.

Fleet

Check in rules

Mingalar online check-in is available from 24 hours to 4 hours before departure. Online-checked passengers must collect their boarding pass and drop checked baggage at least 1 hour before departure. International airport check-in generally opens 3 hours before departure, although closing times vary by airport. Boarding gates close 10 minutes before departure.

Baggage

Mingalar checked baggage allowance varies by route and fare. Business Class generally allows 2 pieces with a combined allowance of 30–64 kg (66–141 lb), while Economy allows 1–2 pieces with a total allowance of 20–30 kg (44–66 lb). Each checked bag must not exceed 158 cm in total dimensions. Infants have a 10 kg (22 lb) baggage allowance, with maximum dimensions of 115 cm per piece.

Unaccompanied minors

Mingalar offers a Meet and Assist service for children aged 6 to under 12 traveling alone, upon request by a parent or legal guardian. Passengers aged 12 to under 16 traveling alone are considered Young Passengers. Children aged 3–4 may travel with a passenger aged 12–15, provided UM procedures are completed for both passengers.

Infants

Infant must be under 2 years old. Infant fares are not occupied seat and if infant is occupying seat, then that infant need to pay child fare.
