Check in rules

Trans Guyana Airways check-in will close 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Passengers who attempt to check in past this deadline risk not being allowed to board the plane, and their ticket fare will not be refunded. Passengers are required to present a valid passport as identification during check-in. It’s the responsibility of the TGA passengers to ensure they have all necessary travel documents before making a reservation or checking in for their flight

Baggage

Due to the different aircraft type and destination, baggage limits are unique to each TGA destination for Lethem it is 9Kg (20lbs) for Suriname it is 15kg (33lbs). Each passenger of Trans Guyana Airways is permitted one piece of cabin baggage which shall not exceed 4.5 kg (10 lbs.) in weight and must be able to be stowed completely under the seat in front. Cabin Baggage shall not exceed any of the following external dimensions: Height 18cm (7 inches) x Width 30cm (12 inches) x length 33cm (13 inches).

Pets

To ensure the well-being of both passengers and pets, Trans Guyana Airways (TGA) TGA has established the following guidelines for the carriage of dogs on board our aircraft. Passengers wishing to bring their dogs on board TGA flights must present a valid vaccination card upon check-in. Dogs must be placed in an appropriate pet carriage container that meets TGA’s safety standards. Passengers must notify airline of their intention to travel with a dog at the time of booking.
