Venezolana was founded in 2001 and offers domestic as well as international services out of Caracas and Maracaibo. Its fleet currently comprises B737 and MD80 type aircraft. Check in rules

The passenger must appear at least two hours before departure in the case of domestic flights and four hours in the case of international flights. In high season it is recommended to add one hour. After this period of time, the Airline reserves the right to dispose of this quota.

Baggage

Carry-on baggage conditions: maximum weight: one piece with a maximum weight of 8 kg (17.7 pounds); dimensions: 55 cm high, 40 cm wide and 20 cm deep. Conditions for checked or hold baggage: maximum weight: 25kg; maximum dimensions: 80cm high, 50cm wide and 28cm deep.

Unaccompanied minors

The airline provides an escort service before, during and after the flight for children from 5 to 17 years old. Assistance to unaccompanied minors begins when they are picked up at the airport and ends when they are handed over to the person in charge at their final destination. You must request the service through the call center from the time of reservation and no later than 24 hours before departure. Your request must be confirmed for both departure and return, as there is a limit on the number of minors accepted on the flight. This service does not include medical care, and no Employee is authorized to supply medication to minors.

Infants

Infants are children under the age of two years. Infants younger than 10 days old are not allowed on board. If you are traveling with an infant, their ticket must be associated with yours, so we recommend buying them at the same time. All Infante tickets for international flights are subject to fees and applicable airport charges. If the Infant turns 36 months plus 1 day before or during the date of return from your trip, you must buy a ticket at the infant fare.

Pets

Small dogs up to 6 kg are allowed in the cabin in appropriate enclosures that meet the parameters necessary for their protection and transportation. Animals (dogs) weighing more than 6 kg and weighing no more than 32 kg may be carried in the luggage compartment or compartments equipped for the transportation of pets. You must request the service from the time of booking, on international flights 7 days before departure and on domestic flights 3 days before departure.
