Being founded 16 years ago, it managed to become the 5th biggest air carrier in India and already served more than 83.8 million travelers. The GoFirst is fully owned by the Wadia Group, which is the parent company. At the moment, the fleet size encompasses a wide range of planes, namely 59 Airbus A320 aircraft of different models in the economy arrangement. Check-in can be done online (via the website), via a mobile app, or at the airport. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure. The gate closes 25 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Passengers are asked to carry the minimum carry-on baggage, subject to a maximum limit of 7 kg/115 cm. On domestic flights, only one piece of check-in baggage weighing up to 15 kg per passenger is allowed. A fee is charged for each additional piece of baggage.

Infants are children under the age of two years. Infants may travel without a seat on the plane, on the lap of an accompanying adult. No more than one infant per adult is allowed. No infant/car seats or strollers are allowed in the cabin. Additional seats cannot be reserved for infants, and infants are not entitled to a free baggage allowance.
