Go First, created under the GoAir logo, is an Indian ultra-low-cost airline. Being founded 16 years ago, it managed to become the 5th biggest air carrier in India and already served more than 83.8 million travelers. The GoFirst is fully owned by the Wadia Group, which is the parent company. At the moment, the fleet size encompasses a wide range of planes, namely 59 Airbus A320 aircraft of different models in the economy arrangement. The company covers 39 routes (27 of which are regional, and 9 international ones). All the staff is trained and coached with the highest standards, while passengers' safety is the priority.

Check in rules

Check-in can be done online (via the website), via a mobile app, or at the airport. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure. The gate closes 25 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Baggage

Passengers are asked to carry the minimum carry-on baggage, subject to a maximum limit of 7 kg/115 cm. On domestic flights, only one piece of check-in baggage weighing up to 15 kg per passenger is allowed. A fee is charged for each additional piece of baggage.

Unaccompanied minors

Go First does not carry unaccompanied minors under the age of 5 years. Children below the age of 5 years must be accompanied on the same reservation by a customer over the age of 18 years.

Infants

Infants are children under the age of two years. Infants may travel without a seat on the plane, on the lap of an accompanying adult. No more than one infant per adult is allowed. No infant/car seats or strollers are allowed in the cabin. Additional seats cannot be reserved for infants, and infants are not entitled to a free baggage allowance.

Pets

Airline does not permit any type of live animal to fly in the cabin or in the cargo hold of its aircraft unless it is a medically certified service dog assisting a physically disabled passenger. Live animals of any type are not permitted to fly in the cargo hold of GoAir aircraft.
