Current JetStar Japan (GK) seat map listing

JetStar Japan was founded in 2011 and launched operations in 2012. It is based at Tokyo's Narita airport. The low cost airline is jointly owned by Qantas and Japan Airlines plus smaller investors. Check in rules

Online check-in for domestic flights in Japan opens seven days before departure and closes 35 minutes before departure. For domestic flights in Australia and New Zealand, online check-in opens 48 hours before departure and closes 35 minutes before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure.

Baggage

Each passenger can carry one bag and one personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Maximum dimensions of carry-on luggage: 114 cm (length + width + height). The maximum combined weight of carry-on and personal Item is 10 kg. The maximum weight of checked luggage is 23 kg, size - up to 158 cm (sum of all dimensions).

Children over the age of 12 can travel alone. The airline does not provide an escort service for minors.

Infants

Children up to two years old (24 months), are not required to have their own seat. Only one lap child is allowed per adult. If one adult travels with more than one infant under two years of age, a seat will have to be purchased for each additional infant.
