Check in rules
The airline does not offer online check-in on its website. Instead, passengers must check in at the airport. The airline recommends that passengers arrive at the airport two hours before their scheduled departure time. Check-in desks at SXM, SAB, EUX, and SBH close 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time. At all other airports, check-in desks close 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

Passengers are allowed to take on board hand luggage with a maximum size of 55 cm x 40 m x 25 cm, and weighing up to 10 kg. The maximum weight of checked baggage is 23 kg, size up to 157 cm (sum of all dimensions).

Winair does not accept unaccompanied minors aboard the De Havilland Twin Otter (DHC). Winair accepts unaccompanied minors on Avions de Transport Regional (ATR). Children over the age of six may travel alone. Accompanied minors are required for children ages 5-11.

A child older than seven days and younger than twenty-four months is considered an infant. An infant not occupying a separate seat will be carried at 90% of the adult fare when an accompanying adult passenger is included in the reservation.

Small pets can be transported in the cabin, if the total weight of the animal and the carrier does not exceed 6 kg. The carrier's dimensions must not exceed 66 cm x 60 cm x 91 cm for pets traveling in the cabin. Dogs, cats, and poultry are accepted for carriage as checked baggage if the animal's and the carrier's total weight do not exceed 7 kg.
