Aeroitalia is a new privately owned Italian airline headquartered in Rome. It started operations in 2022 from its hub at Forli using B737-800 aircraft in a single class configuration. Aeroitalia is backed by airline mogul Germán Efromovich and French banker Marc Bourgade. The airline is planning for a swift expansion that should see it flying intercontinental routes by 2023.

Check in rules

All Passengers are offered the opportunity to check-in online on the Aeroitalia Website and to print or download the Boarding Pass. Online check-in is available from 24h and up to 3h from flight departure. The check-in time limit varies from one airport to another. The Passenger must strictly respect the deadlines, under penalty of cancellation of Reservations.

Baggage

Depending on the applicable fare, a limited number of bags are allowed to be checked in as part of the baggage allowance. The baggage allowance is indicated on the ticket and may be requested from the Carrier or the Authorised Agent who issued the Ticket. Carriage of baggage in excess of the baggage allowance and special baggage is subject to a charge. The weight of each individual package can in any case not exceed 32 kilograms.

Unaccompanied minors

The carriage of unaccompanied minors may be subject to special procedures. The Passenger is advised to inform the Carrier of his special needs and the type of assistance requested, at the same time as the Booking.

Infants

For safety reasons, infants (aged 8 days to 23 months) must sit on an adult's lap using an infant seat belt provided by the cabin crew and at no extra charge.

Pets

The carriage of pets following the Passenger is subject to prior and explicit acceptance by the Carrier. Each Passenger may carry a limited number of pets on each flight. Current legislation prohibits the transport of certain categories of pets. Guide dogs and service animals accompanying Passengers with Reduced Mobility will be transported free of charge. The transport of service animals is limited to dogs only.
