Current Zipair Tokyo (ZG) seat map listing

Zipair is a Japanese low cost carrier based at Tokyo Narita International Airport. It is a subsidiary of Japan Airlines and was founded in 2018. Passenger operations started in 2020 using B787-8 aircraft provided by its parent airline. The aircraft are configured in a two class layout with full flat premim seats in the forward cabin. The airline serves several destinations in the USA as well as a few Asian cities.

Check in rules

Passengers who purchase a ticket 24 hours before departure will be automatically checked in by our systems the day before departure. Passengers who are unable to use automatic check-in must arrive at the check-in counter at least one hour before departure. Passengers who require special assistance must arrive at the check-in counter 2 hours prior to departure.

Baggage

Hand luggage (to be carried in the cabin) is limited to two items. They must be within the specified size (first item: 40×25×55 cm, second item: 35×25×45 cm). Baggage with a total weight of 7 kg is carried free of charge. For luggage exceeding this amount (maximum 12 kg) additional fee is charged. Checked-in baggage is limited to five pieces within the specified size limit (the sum of the three sides is 203 cm or less). Fees vary depending on the weight of the items up to 14 kg, 23 kg or 32 kg. (Limit of 32 kg per item).

The airline does not provide an escort service for minors. However, it does allow children over the age of 15 to travel alone.

Infants

Infants are considered to be children under one year of age. An infant must be accompanied by another person 15 years of age or older. One adult may accompany no more than two children under the age of six (small child and infant). However, only one infant is allowed per adult.

Pets

Animals are not accepted as checked-in baggage or as an escort on the aircraft. However, guide dogs for people with disabilities (guide dogs, service dogs, hearing dogs) may be accompanied in the cabin free of charge.
