Indonesia’s TransNusa Airlines received its COMAC ARJ21-700s (now C909) on order, which marks the first time that an airline outside China operates a COMAC airliner. The C909 main cabin arrangement is for a single class seating capacity of 95 passengers. This makes it suitable for regional routes and shorter domestic flights. A second version has been added to the fleet with a dedicated premium class making it suitable also for international routes.

Premium Plus is a single row at the front of the cabin. It is in a 2+2 layout equipped with standard recliner style seats. Legroom is very good. A galley and lavatory are located just ahead so access is quick but might be disturbing at times.

Economy has a comfortable 2+3 layout for 85 passengers. The seat pitch is a bit tight at 29" so the first row and the exit row offer more legroom for those wh need it. The cabin is louder at the back due to the engine placement. There is a lavatory at the very back of the plane.
