Airlines operating Airbus A330-200 (A332) planes

The Airbus A330-200 is a shorter version developed from the original A330-300. Thanks to the lighter body, the shortened version traded passenger capacity for more fuel uplift, giving it a much better range performance. The A330-200 has a useful range of 13,450km (7,260nm), which enabled it to compete very effectively with the popular Boeing B767-300ER. The twin engined wide body airliner shares the same systems and cockpit layout as the other types in the family, making a mixed operation of A330/340 very advantageous for many airlines. Production of the passenger variant ended in 2019 and Airbus has replaced the model with the newly developed A330-800neo.
