Airlines operating Boeing 777-300ER airplanes
The 777-300ER is the most successful variant of Boeing's Triple Seven family of aircraft. Over 800 have been built by 2024, representing almost half of all 777 built so far. The 777-300ER combines the stretched fuselage of the 777-300 with specially developed GE90 engines from General Electric. These GE90-115B engines produce over 115000 lbf (513kn) of thrust making them the most powerful turbofan engines in the civil aviation market. Together with a higher fuel capacity and strengthening of various systems of the design, the 777-300ER is capable of transporting 365 passengers over a distance of 7370nm (13650km). The first example was delivered to Air France in 2004. The type has replaced the 747 in the fleet of many airlines and it also proved to be more economical to operate than its direct rival the A340-600. Boeing has now shifted development to the 777X, a further development of the Triple Seven with a new wing and new engines.
