Airlines operating COMAC C909 airplanes
The COMAC C909 was originally marketed as the ARJ21. It is China's first domestically produced regional jet, developed by the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China. It made its maiden flight in 2008 and entered service in 2016. The C909 typically seats 78 to 95 passengers and has a range of about 3,700 kilometers. Powered by two General Electric CF34-10A engines, it features a modern glass cockpit and efficient wing design. While primarily serving domestic routes, the C909 aims to expand internationally, though it faces certification challenges outside China.
