Airlines operating Boeing 777-300 airplanes

The Boeing 777-300 is a stretched version of the original 777-200. The fuselage was extended by 33ft (10.1m), increasing passenger capacity by a good 20%. The resulting aircraft had a maximum take off weight similar to that of the 777-200ER but could carry more passengers at the expense of range. The 777-300 could fly a typical two class load of 396 passengers over a distance of 6030nm (11165km). Boeing presented this model as a replacement for older B747s offering an almost similar capacity while burning a third less fuel. The 777-300 did not prove very popular, however, and only 60 units were ordered by eight customers. The type was superseded by the more performant 777-300ER.
