Suparna Airlines, also known as Jinpeng and previously operating as Yangtze River Express, is an Airline of the HNA Group. The airline was founded in 2003 and mainly operates cargo services with a fleet of dedicated Boeing B737 and B747 freighter aircraft. Suparna Airlines also operates some passenger services out of its Shanghai Pudong hub using B737-800 aircraft. These are configured in a single class high density layout. The name of the airline comes from a mythical bird that is also known under the name Garuda.

Check in rules

From September 16, 2023, Supama / Jinpeng Airlines offers self-service online check-in for all routes and cabins via their official website and WeChat applet. JinPeng (Supama) Airlines passengers must complete security checks at least 50 minutes before their flight's scheduled departure and board no later than 20 minutes before takeoff. Jinpeng Airlines may rearrange seats, and cooperation with staff is requested. Passengers canceling flights after online check-in must do so at least one hour before departure either online or at airport check-in counters to avoid no-show penalties. Seat selections made online might change during check-in due to system issues.

Baggage

At Supama Airlines, also known as Jinpeng, passengers who have completed online check-in are not required to go through a separate baggage check-in procedure. However, those with checked baggage must visit the designated check-in counter at the airport at least 90 minutes before their flight to ensure timely processing. Business class passengers are permitted to carry two pieces of hand luggage, each not exceeding 7 kilograms in weight and dimensions of 20 × 40 × 55 cm. In contrast, economy class passengers are allowed only one piece of hand luggage with the same weight and size restrictions.

Unaccompanied minors

Jinpeng/Supama Airlines has specific guidelines for unaccompanied minors (UM), defined as children over 5 but under 12 years old, traveling without an adult over 18 with full civil capacity. The airline does not accommodate certain categories of unaccompanied minors, including children under 5 years old, sick or disabled children under 12, and those traveling on connecting flights, stopover flights, or code-share flights operated by other carriers. Unaccompanied minors are not accepted on domestic and international flights of Jinpeng Airlines. The number of unaccompanied minors allowed per flight is limited based on the aircraft type: a maximum of 5 on a B737 and 8 on a B787. For a child to travel as an unaccompanied minor, the application must be submitted at least 60 minutes before the flight's scheduled departure. Infants

Jinpeng/Supama Airlines defined as babies aged 14 days to under 2 years. The airline does not transport infants younger than 14 days or premature infants less than 90 days old. Infants tickets are 10% of the regular adult fare. If an adult carries more than one infant, additional infants must purchase child tickets and occupy separate seats. The airline does not provide cradles; infants must be held by the accompanying adult using a special safety belt or a qualified child restraint device. Each adult is allowed to hold only one infant. Infants occupying a seat must use a child restraint device (car-type safety seat) no wider than 17 inches (43cm) and within the weight limit specified by the device. Infant tickets do not include a free baggage allowance. However, passengers can carry or check in one fully foldable stroller or cradle, provided it weighs no more than 7 kilograms and measures no more than 20 × 40 × 55 cm. The number of infants onboard is limited by the availability of infant safety belts and life jackets, with the B737 model accommodating up to 8 infants.

Jinpeng (Supama) Airlines accommodates passengers traveling with service dogs, ensuring accessibility for persons with disabilities. The airline permits service dogs in the cabin, provided they comply with safety regulations, do not cause disruption, and do not obstruct passageways or emergency evacuation routes. To travel with a service dog, passengers must present several documents: a valid animal health certificate, known as the "Animal Quarantine Certificate"; a valid service dog identification, which could be an "Animal Training Certificate," "Animal Work Certificate," or "Animal Identity Card"; proof of the service dog's vaccinations; and the passenger's valid "Disability Certificate of the People's Republic of China." These requirements ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers while accommodating the needs of those with disabilities.
