Qanot Sharq Airlines' history and establishment started in September 1998, which firstly specialized in cargo and charter passenger transportation, but in 2021 resumed its operations as a passenger airline. Currently, the main hub is located in Tashkent Airport. From 2003 to 2012, the Il-76 cargo planes of Uzbekistan Airways were operating routes. After their transfer to the Ministry of Defense, it suspended its air operator certificate. As of now, the company serves two Airbus A320-200s. In July 2021, the airline received an air operator certificate. The Google review mark is 3.7, while Facebook mark is 1.0

Check in rules

Online pre-flight check-in is not required when traveling with an airline. Check-in desks open two hours before departure and close 40 minutes before departure.

Baggage

Passengers can take on board hand baggage with a maximum size of 55 cm x 40 m x 25 cm, weighing up to 10 kg. In addition, Qanot Sharq passengers are allowed one piece of checked baggage weighing 20 kg per person and not exceeding 158 linear centimeters (length + width + height), excluding those on XS fare. Any additional baggage will be charged at the current excess baggage rate.

Unaccompanied minors

Children over the age of 15 can travel alone. The airline provides an escort service for minors. The service is not compulsory and is provided at the request of parents/guardians.

Infants

Infants under two years of age may travel either in a special child seat or on an adult's lap. For safety reasons, there is a limit of one infant per adult and one infant per row of three seats.
