Check-in can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 24 hours before departure and ends 60 minutes before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure. The gate closes 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Passengers are allowed only one carry-on bag and one purse/laptop bag or briefcase. All carry-on baggage may not exceed the maximum dimensions of 20×40×55 and the maximum weight of 10 kg. The checked-in baggage for Sichuan Airlines may not exceed 158cm in dimensions (length + width + height). Any single piece of luggage weighing more than 23 kg is not allowed. The free baggage allowance is shown on the ticket and will depend on the conditions and restrictions in force at the time of the flight.

Southern Airlines offers special services for unaccompanied minors and unaccompanied teenagers. All minors between the ages of 5 and 11 who travel alone must apply for the unaccompanied minor service. These age restrictions apply to both domestic and international flights. In addition, on domestic flights, since each adult passenger may only accompany two children under 12 years of age in the same cabin, any other children must be subject to the Unaccompanied Minors service even if these children purchased the ticket at the total price.

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Infants less than 14 days old are not allowed on the flight. Infants may fly without an airplane seat on the lap of an accompanying adult. If you wish, you can buy a seat for an infant at the infant fare. Children over two years of age must have their seat on the plane. If one adult travels with two infants, one seat must be purchased for one infant, and the other may be held on the lap.

Pets are not allowed on Sichuan Airlines flights. However, pets may be carried as checked baggage. The total weight of the pet and their carrier or pet crate must not exceed the weight limit of 71 pounds (32 kg). Dimensions may not exceed 16 x 27 x 39 inches or less than 2 x 6 x 9 inches. One passenger can carry no more than two pets.
