Check-in can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. S7 Online check-in begins 30 hours before departure and ends 50 minutes before departure. Check-in desks open two hours before departure and close 40 minutes before departure.

S7 Airlines Check-in rules

On all S7 flights, each passenger is allowed one hand baggage. Hand baggage may weigh no more than 7kg, and its overall dimensions may not exceed 55 x 40 x 20 cm. Business Class passengers are allowed two items with the same weight and size restrictions. In addition, all passengers who have purchased a seat are entitled to a free baggage allowance: one piece of baggage weighing 20 kg for economy class and two pieces (maximum weight of one piece is 23 kg) weighing 30 kg for business class.

S7 Airlines Baggage rules

Children over the age of five can travel alone. A minors' escort service is compulsory for children 5-12 years old. For children over 12 years old, the minors' escort service is not mandatory and can be booked at the parents' request.

Unaccompanied minors in S7 Airlines

Infants under two years of age may travel on an adult's lap on any flight without a seat reservation. The fare is 10% of an adult ticket. Infants under two years of age who want a separate seat can do so at a 50% discount off the regular fare. If one adult travels with two infants, one seat must be purchased for one child, and the other can be held on the lap.

Airlines allow pets in the cabin or checked luggage on most flights. S7 Airlines only allows two pets on each flight. The total weight of a pet and a carrier may not exceed 8 kg (for carriage in the cabin) and 32 kg (for carriage in the luggage compartment). For pets traveling in the cabin the maximum dimensions of the carrier may not exceed 55cm x 40cm x 20cm. For pets, in the luggage compartment, the container must not exceed 203 cm (sum of all sides).
