Check in rules
Check-in can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 48 hours before departure and ends two hours before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 30 minutes before departure. The gate closes 10 minutes before departure time.

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Children up to two years old (24 months) are not required to have their own seat. If one adult travels with more than one infant under two years of age, contact Singapore Airlines, as special arrangements are required.

Singapore Airlines does not accept pets on its flights. Animals may be carried as checked baggage. The pet must be at least three months old. The total weight of the pet and carrier may not exceed 70 pounds (32 kg). If more than one pet travels with a passenger, they must be placed in separate carriers. Puppies or kittens from the same litter may be in the same carrier if they are three months old or older and weigh less than 30 lbs (14 kg). No more than two puppies or kittens are allowed in each carrier. For pets carried in the baggage compartment, the height of the carrier may not exceed 22 inches (56 cm) on A330 aircraft, 40 inches (101 cm) on B777 planes, 23 inches (60 cm) on A380 aircraft, and 30 inches (76 cm) on A350 aircraft.
