Its main bases are Yellowknife Airport Iqaluit Airport. It operates scheduled and charter flights to 28 cities in the following province/territory: Alberta, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Quebec. Baggage

Passengers are allowed to take on board hand luggage with a maximum size of 26 cm x 46 m x 56 cm, and weighing up to 10 kg. Maximum weight of checked baggage is 23 kg, size up to 158 cm (sum of all dimensions).

Unaccompanied minors

Children over the age of five can travel alone. For children 5-11 years old, a minors' escort service is compulsory. For children over the age of 12 years old the minors' escort service is not compulsory and can be booked on request of parents.

Infants

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Infants may fly for free on the lap of an accompanying adult. If you wish you can buy a seat for an infant at the infant fare. If one adult is traveling with two infants, one seat must be purchased for one infant and the other may be held on the lap.

Pets

Passengers are allowed to bring 1 carrier on board as part of their carry on allowance. A maximum of 5 carriers are allowed in the cabin with Canadian North. Small dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, hedgehogs, and chinchillas can travel in the cabin with Canadian North. You can carry 2 dogs or 2 cats in the same carrier if they are between 8 weeks and 6 months. Larger animals can travel as checked baggage with Canadian North if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 182 lbs (83 kg). For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 23 cm x 41 cm x 57 cm. For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers should not exceed the following dimensions: small carriers - 53 cm x 40 cm x 38 cm; medium carriers - 81 cm x 58 cm x 61 cm; and large carriers - 102 cm x 69 cm x 76 cm.
