Azul Brazilian Check-in can be done in the following ways: online check-in (web check-in), via mobile application, at the check-in counter at the airport, and check-in kiosk at the airport. Online check-in begins 24 hours before departure and ends 60 minutes before departure. Check-in at the airport starts three hours in advance.

Children over five years old can travel alone. For children 8 (domestic) and 12 (international) years old is required a paid unaccompanied Azul Brazilian service. For children 17 years old, there is no need for an escort. Unaccompanied minors are only allowed on domestic or international flights operated exclusively by Azul. The minor will be denied boarding flights purchased with another international partner airline.

Infants (0 to 2 years old) traveling on their lap pay 10% off the adult fare. If they travel in a separate seat and a child's seat, they will receive a 15% discount on the adult Azul Brazilian fare. Also, children 2-12 years old get a 15% discount off the adult fare.

Each passenger is entitled to take one pet on the flight in the Azul Brazilian cabin. If they are over four months old, no more than three pets (dogs and cats) and one in the Business cabin are allowed on each flight. The total weight of the pet (pet + container) may not exceed seven kilograms. The airline allows two types of portable containers for pets: a rigid box or a flexible bag. Dimensions must be no more than 43 cm in length, 31.5 cm in width, and 20 cm in height.
