Check-in at the airport starts for domestic flights at least 1:30 am before departure and ends 40 minutes before departure; international flights begin at least 2 hours before departure and end 50 minutes before departure. Check-in Kiosk check-in and online check-in are available 24 hours to 1 hour before departure.

Checked-in baggage allowance: economy class - maximum weight allowance is 20 kg for adult and child / 10 kg for an infant; Blue Ribbon class (business class) - maximum weight allowance is 40 kg for adult and child / 10 kg for an infant. The airline provides Unaccompanied Minors (UMNR) service for minors traveling alone without a guardian, ages 6 to 12. Children between the ages of 12 and 16 are not required to use the Unaccompanied Minors service. However, the service can be performed upon request. Contact the Bangkok Airways Reservations Center/Call Center at least 24 hours before departure to have your reservation confirmed.

Infants are considered to be under two years of age. The airline does not allow children younger than seven days old to fly. Free cradles are available on Bangkok Airways flights on Airbus 319/320 aircraft with a flight duration of more than 2 hours (Bangkok-Maldives and Samui Hong Kong). The maximum weight and height of infants using each cradle are 11 kg and 70 cm, respectively. The number of carrycots is limited; 2 for Economy Class cabins and 2 for Business Class cabins (for Airbus 319/320).

Only cats and dogs are allowed on the flight. Brachycephalic animals are not allowed. The baggage allowance for pets differs depending on the aircraft: AT72 - maximum weight of a pet with a cage is 20 kg (80x45x65); A319 and A320 - up to 60 kg (100x60x75)
