The company was founded in February 2017. Azimut is a Russian airline based in Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar. The main hub for the carrier is Platov airport in Rostov-on-Don. Additional hub is Krasnodar airport. With the increase of the company's fleet, Khrabrovo (Kaliningrad) and Sochi airports may become additional hubs. The airline's fleet consists of 15 SSJ100 aircraft only. Azimut flies to 30 domestic and three international destinations.

Check in rules

Azimuth Airlines allow their passengers to check in online before their flight. This service opens 24 hours before flying, and closing 3 hours before flying. Passengers who have not checked in online must do so at an Azimuth Airlines airport check-in desk. The check-in desk will open 2 hours before departure, closing 40 minutes before scheduled departure time, unless otherwise stated.

Baggage

Passengers are allowed to take on board hand baggage of maximum dimensions 55 cm x 40 m x 25 cm, weighing up to 5 kg (for the Light fare) and up to 10 kg (for the Normal fare). The maximum weight of checked baggage is 23 kg with dimensions up to 203 cm (sum of all dimensions).

Unaccompanied minors

Accompanied children from 5 to 12 years of age who are unaccompanied by their parents or an adult passenger of full legal capacity may request this service, which is compulsory. At the request of parents, adoptive parents, guardians, or custodians, the service may also be provided for children under 16 years old.

Infants

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Infants cannot be transported during the first 48 hours after birth. It is not recommended to transport newborn babies less than seven days old. The flight can be carried out only with a certificate from a medical institution stating that there are no contraindications for the flight.

Pets

A container with a watertight bottom covered with absorbent material and air access to the container is allowed for transportation in the pet's cabin. The maximum weight of the container with the animal must not exceed 8 kg. The maximum size is 115 cm (sum of all dimensions).
