Spirit Airlines allows 1 personal item (purse, briefcase, laptop bag) per passenger fee free. Carry-on should not exceed the following size and weight restrictions: 50 linear inches (22 x 18 x 10 in) or 127 centimeters (56 x 46 x 25 cm) including handles and wheels. Infants

A child under two years old (24 months) can travel for free as long as the infant is on the lap of another passenger for the Spirit Airlines flight. Children up to two years old (24 months) are not required to have their own seat. Only one lap child is allowed per adult. If one adult travels with more than one infant under two years of age, a seat will have to be purchased for each additional infant.

Pets

Spirit Airlines accepts small pets (dogs, cats, and pet birds) in the cabin on flights within the United States, as long as the total weight of the pet and the carrier do not exceed 40 pounds (18 kg). Pets are not allowed in the cabin on international flights. Passengers may carry only one pet carrier, each of which may hold up to 2 pets. For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed 18 inches in length x 14 inches in width x 9 inches in height (45 cm x 35 cm x 23 cm).
